We are an international research team that arose as a result of the common interest of its researchers in the scientific study of writing. Our research line brings together two views: a cognitive perspective, focused on the analysis of the processes and cognitive variables involved in writing; and an educational perspective, aimed at improving the writing competence of students in different educational stages and preventing learning disabilities.

Our team has been recognized as a Consolidated Research Unit by Junta de Castilla y León (UIC 309).
